National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET 2024 syllabus, which includes both deleted and added subjects. This year, NTA has removed a total of 11 chapters from the NEET syllabus, including NCERT Class 11 Chapter 14: Oscillations and NCERT Class 11 Chapter 16: Chemical Thermodynamics.

The syllabus of NEET 2024 has been reduced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). 2024 NEET Exam Pattern

Mode of Examination: The examination will be conducted in offline mode pen and paper mode

Number of Questions: 200 multiple choice questions MCQs.

Subject: The examination will consist of three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Section-wise distribution of questions: Questions will be divided into three sections:

Section A: Physics 50 questions

Section B: Chemistry 50 questions

Section C: Biology 100 questions

Marking Scheme: Four marks will be given for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.

Total Marks: 720

Exam Duration: 3 Hours 20 Minutes Total 200 Minutes

Language: 13 Languages English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu

Number of attempts: Unlimited
